Can The Front Bike Mount Be Removed From A Hollywood Racks Hitch Mounted Bike Rack

Question:

Can I remove the outer bike rack on any of these? I only need to carry 1 bike. Recommendations appreciated here. FYI - I have a Ford E450 4x4 Diesel Ambulance that has been built into an off-road expedition vehicle. I live in it full time. Spend a large amount of time off-road/off-grid. Going to carry my ebike on the front of vehicle. My custom built front winch bumper has a 2inch receiver hitch. I do have a 2inch rear receiver hitch as well It appears to me that the Hollywood racks are the most well built and strongest. Looking at: RV Rider Sku-HR1700 Sports Rider Sku-HR1500 TRS E-Bike Hitch Rack-Sku-HR3500-E Any help appreciated,

The RV Rider # HLY64FR and Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR both have clamp on wheel hoops and arms/clamps that can be removed to get down to the one bike mount that you're wanting. The TRS Bike Rack # HR3500E does as well but also has more that sticks out past the second mount and thus wouldn't really make a difference with the second mount removed. These bike racks have the following per bike weight capacities:

# HLY64FR - 80lbs
# HLY84FR - 80lbs

Of the two I recommend the # HLY64FR as it has the most applications with it being rated for use on motorhomes, 5th wheel trailers, and flat-towed vehicles as well unlike the others. It has a 5" maximum tire width and padded clamps with hand knobs to hold your e-bike securely by the frame or seat post without needing an adapter bar if your e-bike has an alternative frame. It also has keyed-alike hitch lock, frame clamps, and cable lock deter theft of your bikes and the rack.
