Is is it possible to disable the brake trailer sensing code that continues to be on my board even after installing a new After market break controller

After you replace the factory brake controller in your vehicle with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 you will need to take your vehicle into the dealership to have it flashed in order to get the light on your dash to go away.
