Compatibility Of B&W Turnover Ball and Firestone Ride-Rite Extreme On a 2020 Ford F-250 Short Bed
Question:
Do you need to install the BandW Turnoverball before installing the Firestone Airbags? I want to install both and currently pull a Travel Trailer and would like to install the airbags first. Thanks

You can install the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F95FV before you install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1116 on your 2020 Ford F-250 FX4. Since both these use different mounting holes and do not share the same mounts they can be installed in any order.
I do recommend covering your airbags when you do install the Turnoverball later as you will be drilling holes through the bed and do not want to get any metal shavings trapped in the bags that could damage them.
I do recommend the Firestone Air Command II # F2168 as it will give you the full 5psi-150psi range out of your air bags and allow you to control each air bag separately in the event you are carrying an uneven load. You can manually adjust and check the air pressure in each bag with the air gauge and analog switches from the cab of your F-250. Since you will install the airbags first when installing the compressor and air tank you should stay away from the mounting location of the Turnoverball.
You will want to install a Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C57008 when you install the Turnoverball, as this will give you a 7-way connection inside your bed so that you aren't risking damage to the 7-way on your bumper.
