Will the Yakima OffGrid # Y07139 and # Y07139-09 Fit My Factory Crossbars on My 2021 GMC Yukon?

Question:

Will the Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket attach to factory roof bars on my 2021 gmc Yukon? Will the larger off grid rack fit as well? Any other basket/rack suggested instead of this one? Looking for something low profile. Thanks

Yes - I confirmed with Yakima that both the Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 53" Long x 49" Wide # Y07139 and the larger Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 75" Long x 49" Wide # Y07139-09 will fit your factory crossbars on your 2021 GMC Yukon. Both of these baskets will add about 7 inches of additional height to your crossbars.

As far as something a little more low-profile, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57" Long x 42" Wide # RMCB02. With the Rhino-Rack basket, you will only add about 5-7/8 inches of height to your crossbars. In order to make sure that this basket will attach to your factory bars, I recommend measuring the height and width of the crossbars. If they do not exceed 3-1/2" wide x 1-1/4" tall, the basket will fit. In addition, you will also need considerable space below the crossbars for the mounting brackets to fit.

Hi, Are there any cargo trays or baskets that attached directly to a Yukon 2021 factory raised side rails without having to use cross rails? Thank you

Rooftop cargo baskets and platforms all attach to cross bars, connected to factory roof rails. If you are looking for something lower profile you might consider roof bags like the Curt # C18221. If you are going to be ok with a basket on crossrails, just let me know if you have a Yukon or Yukon XL.
