What Tonneau Cover is Compatible with My Ladder Rack on a 2021 Ram 1500?

A great solution that will keep your truck bed somewhat dry during rain or snow is a tonneau cover. As far as the compatibility of a tonneau cover with a truck rack/ladder rack, it depends on if your ladder rack clamps anywhere along the truck bed's rails (where the tonneau cover installs). If you have a ladder rack that clamps onto the rails, unfortunately any tonneau cover we offer will not be able to install simultaneously with that rack.

However, if you have a ladder rack that simply mounts into your truck's stake pockets like the Thule TracRac SR # TH57RV, we do have tonneau covers that will work great on your 2021 Ram 1500 (5-1/2 foot bed without RamBox). For the best option, I recommend the BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK24ZR. The X4s installs entirely into the bed rails, so you will be able to use a ladder rack that uses the stake pocket inserts. As far as keeping your bed dry, the X4s includes rubber weathering seals to help keep water/snow out of your bed. Since the bed uses a roll-up feature, you will not need to worry about panels interfering with the height of your rack.
