Custom 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit for a 2006 Dodge Ram 3500
Question:
I have a 2006 Dodge 3500 with long box and SRW. I bought this Husky 24K 5th wheel hitch about 10 years ago that came with bed rails 1425-09 and universal mounting kit. I quickly found that the front rail was going to be difficult to install with that universal kit. I want to buy a custom mounting kit that allows me to mount it with no drilling on the frame. What do you recommend.

If your truck is a 2-wheel drive model, then you can use Husky kit # HT31413-686.
It is compatible with Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese and Valley 5th-wheel hitches that fit in above the bed rails.
The Husky brackets that you have referenced, # HT31408, do not fit a Dodge Ram. These brackets only fit certain Ford trucks.
