Does 22 inch Bracket Width on RV Prevent Install of Lippert SolidStep
Question:
I have a 2016 rockwood mini lite trailer. I need entry steps and would like 3 step manual folding steps. But it looks like the bracket is measuring only 22inch that is under the threshold. Is there a smaller version of steps that fits on this model? What should I do? What step and do I need different brackets.

Expert Reply:
The Lippert Solidstep RV folding steps part # LC791573 do not attach to the brackets on the underside of the door so your 22 inch width bracket for pull out steps would not be an issue. As long as your doorway width is 24 inches wide and the entry height of the door is between 27 and 36 inches this will fit and work great.
