Aluminum or Stainless Steel Adjustable Ball Mount Recommendations for a 2012 Toyota Tundra

I have a 2012 Tundra with factory tow package. I want an aluminum or stainless ball mount and a stainless ball with a 3inch class IV but cant find one. Receiver is 2. Do you know of one? If not available and I go with an adjustable is there one that has stainless rust free internals and is not lose and sloppy and that I can lock to prevent theft?

I assume that you are wanting a 3 inch rise or drop ball mount for your factory installed 2012 Toyota Tundra with a factory installed Class IV hitch that has a 2 inch receiver. You have indicated that you would prefer a ball mount that is made of all aluminum or stainless steel components, has an anti-rattle device and is lockable. Unfortunately, we do not have a fixed stainless steel or aluminum draw bar that will provide a 3 inch drop or rise. However, we do offer several options for adjustable ball mounts that will fit your preferences.

According to my contact at Diversi-Tech this style of the adjustable ball mounts (the ALB series), features a locking system that locks the all the components of the trailer ball system to the truck hitch. This feature locks the ball mount to the hitch receiver, locks the adjustable ball platform to the ball mount, and locks the ball to the ball platform. All these locking locations utilize internal locking features so that the locks cannot be lost.

If you do not need a 1-7/8 inch ball for your towing needs, and a 2 and 2-5/16 combination adjustable ball mount will work for your towing needs, I would recommend the Diversi-Tech Self Locking Adjustable Ball Mount # DTALBM6400-2S.

This is an adjustable ball mount that provides a 4 inch drop or 5 inch rise. It is also made of aircraft-grade billet aluminum and the balls are made of stainless steel. It also features a self locking system locks the ball mount to the receiver tube and the ball platform to the ball mount. This ball mount also has a built in anti-rattle system.

The Adjustable Ball Mount # DTALBM6400-2S, also features the same internal locking mechanism as mentioned above that locks the components of the drawbar together and also locks to the truck hitch.
