Comparing Air Bags to SumoSprings for 2022 Ram 2500

I'm looking to add some suspension enhancement to reduce sag in the back of my 2022 Ram 2500. I'm trying to decide between air bags and these sumosprings. What do you think?

When it comes to comparing jounce-style springs like the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SS27GR and air bags there are a few differences. The main one difference is going to be the maintenance free aspect of the SumoSprings. Once they are installed you are done. With air bags, you will need to maintain and monitor the air pressure.

Although air bags can be set to compensate for for uneven loads, the SumoSprings will work independently without any need to adjust them and will also help reduce body roll during sharp turns. Another thing to consider is that the air bags can be inflated to engage right away, where the SumoSprings won't engage until the rear starts to sag down.

Ultimately both are good options. If you like the idea of something you don't have to maintain or worry about I would recommend the SumoSprings # SS27GR. If you would like more control over your suspension enhancement I would recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2598 along with a compressor like the # F2610
