I went ahead and checked your owner's manual and confirmed that it doesn't suggest using tire chains on your 2013 JX35 with 235/55R20 tires. However, many times the manufacturers say this because there is concern about clearance between the inside tire surface and the interior wheel well. I attached a picture that shows the inside of the tire with the chains installed.

With that being said, in order to avoid potential interior damage, the safest route is the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern # TH02230K77. These self-tensioning chains do not install in the interior of the wheel so it will decrease the probability of damage to your vehicle. In addition, these chains provide superior traction on ice and snow alike. The self-tensioning mechanism on the chains will avoid the inconvenience of having to readjust the chains after each trip. It is important to note that any damage sustained with these chains will not be our liability.
