Bike Rack Recommendation to Replace Saris Thelma 3 Bike Rack
Question:
Getting rid of Thelma 3 due to unavailability of parts I want another hitch mounted each that only holds the wheels. I just don’t trust anything touching the carbon fiber frame. If I switch to two bikes, what do you recommend?

A 2-bike alternative to the Saris Thelma 3 is the RockyMounts WestSlope Bike Rack # RKY10222 which actually has slightly better specs (40 lbs per bike, 3" max tire width, 20" - 29" wheel diameters to name a few) and you can add locks to the bikes and rack using the kit # RKY10224.
The main difference between these racks is how the front wheel is secured to the rack. The Thelma 3 used straps to pull the wheel against the tray while the WestSlope uses a ratcheting arm that pushes the wheel against the tray.
I have attached a review video for you to check out.
