Can Friction Sway Control Be Used with 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with TSC/ESC
Question:
I just upgraded my tow vehicle from a half ton to a 2020 Chevy 2500HD. The Chevy is equipped with Traction Control and Electronic Stability control. I have been using two friction sway bars when I tow my Travel trailer 8K lbs and 29ft long. Do I still need the manual sway bars with the TSC/ESC on my 2500HD? If so, should I leave my TSC/ESC on when towing and using the manual sway bars? Thank you

Expert Reply:
With a larger vehicle with stiffer suspension you probably will experience less trailer sway when towing your trailer but it can't hurt to use the friction sway control units like the # 17200 and they wouldn't interfere with performance of the TSC/ESC you mentioned either.
