Tip to Make Starting Self Tappers of Demco Air Force One Install to Start Easier
Question:
Im installing an AFO brake system in my 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk and have been following your video installing this in a 2020 Cherokee Trail Hawk.. I ran into a problem attaching the brake cable anchor in the firewall. Behind the firewall about ¼-? is another layer of metal that the self tapping screws dont want to cut into. any suggestions on alternate approaches to try?

I'd recommend drilling a pilot hole that's about half the diameter as the self tapping screws of the Demco Air Force One # SM99243 that won't start.
