Low Clearance Tire Chain Options for 2021 Volkswagen Atlas with Tire Size 255/75-20 265/45-20

Hi, When I purchased my 2021 VW Atlas Cross Sport R-line in September I signed paperwork saying the use of tire chains would void the warranty. They said I could use cables. Would these Konig chains void that warranty? 265 45 r21 thanks

The Konic Easy Fit Chains part # th04115265 you referenced that fit the tire size of 255/75-20 that you have on your 2021 Volkswagen Atlas offer a lower clearance requirement like tire cables so I can't imagine they'd affect the warranty but you'd be best served checking with Volkswagen. These will hold up way better than cables too so in that regard you'd have less of a chance of failure that would damage a wheel well. These only require 10 mm of clearance which is right at about the same as cables.

The other option you have that actually requires no inner wheel well clearance and would work great is the K-Summit chains part # TH2004565767 that fit your tire size. This would be the ultimate in terms of zero clearance requirements and optimum traction compared to cables since they do not drape over inside of tire at all.

Also worth mentioning is that if you meant to type tire size 265/45-20 both chains fit this as well.
