Is the Thule Apex Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Easy to Install/Remove on a 2010 Mazda CX-7

Question:

I am buying this for my husband as a gift. It will have to be put on my 2010 Mazda CX-7. His car is leased so we cant add the wrack to it. When not in use, will it be easy to remove the wrack?

The Thule Apex, # TH9024XT, weighs approximately 35 pounds so it can easily be handled by an adult to install and removed from either a 1-1/4 or 2 inch trailer hitch. The arms can fold down and there is a built in handle in the back at the top to make carrying it around easier. I have included a link to a video review of this rack for you.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical mens bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # TH982XT. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have to use these adapters and without them my wifes bike would be at a severe angle and I would not be able to load my sons bike at all. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
