Yakima Bike Rack and Curt Hitch Receiver for 2013 Suzuki SX4 Hatchback

I need to get a bike rack for 2 electric bikes - 43 pounds each. Im looking at this rack item # Y96FR. I also need the car hitch for a 2013 Suzuki SX4 Hatchback model. Are there any of the hitch mounts that will accommodate this bike rack?

The bike rack you referenced, the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes item # Y96FR, is not compatible with class 1 hitch receivers which is all that is available for your vehicle. I recommend the Kuat NV 2.0 Base 2-Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" Hitches item # BA12B. It has a weight capacity of 66 lbs per bike, a maximum tire width of 3.25", maximum wheelbase of 50", and a wheel cradle strap that is 10" long. The integrated ramp will help you load your heavy bikes and then you can store the ramp behind the bike trays when not in use.

I found a hitch for your Suzuki that is custom fit and has a 200 lbs tongue weight, which will be more than enough to carry your two 43 lbs bikes and 49 lbs Kuat item # BA12B.
