For your 2017 Ford F-350 I recommend checking your ground wires first. Often times a loose, or corroded ground connection is the source of trouble. Check for corrosion in the connector where the bulbs connect back into the harness, also check to make sure the bulbs are not bad either. Also check the trailer/vehicle connectors for corrosion as well.
The next thing to check for is blown fuses, check the number 84 fuse in the engine compartment. If the fuse is blown, simply replace the fuse and check for error.
If you've verified your grounds are acceptable and no fuses are blown, then the next thing to check is for continuity at the 7-way on your vehicle. Run through the functionality of your vehicle's 7 way with a circuit tester like the Circuit Tester Kit # PTW2993. Find out which wire doesn't work and trace the wire back, inspecting for frays or breakage.
