Recommended Sliding Ladder Rack For A 2021 Chevy Silverado With 6.5 Foot Bed

I recently purchased a 21 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 6 1/2 foot bed and am in the need of a bed rack. I wont always be using it so I prefer one that can either be removed easily or one that slides up and out of the way. Sliding would be better though so I wont need to store it somewhere. What are my options?

If you are looking for a sliding rack to fit your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado with a 6.5 foot bed, I highly recommend the Thule TracRac SR # TH43002XT-781. The front and rear uprights are easily adjusted and secured in place with the twist of a few knobs, and the rack is also rated up to 1,250 pounds. This is also American made.

One of the huge pluses for the # TH43002XT-781 is that there is no drilling for the install as well. As this will secure in the stake pockets in the bed, it will be very easy to remove if ever needed.

One of the other huge pluses with the # TH43002XT-781 is that it can be used with some roll up style tonneau covers. The TruXedo Sentry Hard Tonneau Cover # TX1572601, as an example, will roll up and will have no issues fitting between the upright posts on the ladder rack. With it having an aluminum construction under the vinyl cover, it will be very secure when closed.
