Recommended Bike Rack For Carrying 2 e-Bikes On The Back Of A Travel Trailer

We have 2 lectric step thru ebikes. We want to transport them on the rear of a 2020 jayco half ton travel trailer. Would the Yakima Y36fr be suitable for this and if so would we need an adapter for each bike?

The Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack # Y36FR will be an excellent rack for carrying your e-Bikes on the back of your travel trailer. This rack is rated for use with standard vehicles, travel trailers, motor homes, flat towed vehicles, and 5th wheels, so it is highly versatile, but I do need to mention that using it on anything other than a standard vehicle will have the weight limit per bike reduced to 40 pounds. With the way that it clamps to a bike though, you will need an adapter bar for your step through bikes.

The correct adapter bar will depend on how long you need it to be, but the Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar # S57FR, as an example, will most likely be the one you need. This will measure 25" at the minimum and 31" at the maximum (measured from the inside of the clamp to the inside of the other clamp). This will typically cover most full size step through frames.
