Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution System for 2018 Forest River 22RBC
Question:
I have a Forest River 22RBC 5800 GVWR trailer being towed by a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. Would the Blue Ox SwayPro 8000# BXW0756 be the proper weight rating or do I need to go up to their 10000# model?

Expert Reply:
For a trailer like the Forest River 22RBC with a GVWR of 5,800 lbs the Blue Ox part # BXW0756 would be ideal as it has as tongue weight range of 550 to 750 lbs and the tongue weight of a trailer is typically between 10-15 percent of the trailer's total weight. So your tongue weight would fall right into this systems range.
