Recommended Air Mattress For A 2022 Ford EcoSport

Hi Im looking at the Rightline tent RL110907 to use with my new 2022 Ford EcoSport and will need an air mattress to go along with it. I saw two different styles and was unsure which will be better. Which is better?

We do indeed have two available options for air mattresses that will fit your 2022 Ford EcoSport. Both of these options will be great add on parts for the Rightline Gear SUV Tent with Rainfly # RL110907 as well, but I do prefer one over the other.

The AirBedz XUV Air Mattress w/ Built-In Battery-Powered Pump - Tan # 341031 will be my preference due to the size. When inflated, this will measure 66" long x 52" wide (43" at the tailgate) x 10" tall and will give you a good amount of room. The internal pump will also get this inflated in about 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 minutes, but as it comes with a plug for a wall socket, you may want to add on the Car Charger Cord # 341024 if you were going to be out for long periods of time. The only downside to this mattress is that the rear seats will need to be folded flat for it to sit properly. If your seats don't do this all the way, the mattress will lay at an angle. If you were going to be storing gear in the back of the vehicle, it will also need to be moved.

Next, the AirBedz Rear Seat Air Mattress w Portable 12V Pump - Blue & Black # 341033 will not need the back seat folded down or anything that is stored in the back moved to accommodate for the mattress. This will fill the footwell and then give a nice cushion on top of the rear seats. The included external pump will get this filled up in 2 minutes, but the downside to this one is the size. It will measure 55" long x 35-1/2" wide x 17-3/4" tall once inflated, so if you wanted a good amount of room to move on it, this will not be the best option. If you are ok with limited space on the other hand, this will take up a lot less room and will be the better option.
