Question:
Which level of spring helper would you recommend for my 2020 Nissan frontier pro 4x? Do these go in place of the stock bump stops?

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2020 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X there are 2 options available for the rear leaf spring suspension. The one you choose will depend on your usage for your Frontier.
The SumoSprings # SSR-612-40 is the lighter option with a weight capacity of 1,400lbs. Do remember that these will not increase your payload or towing capacities but are designed to assist the factory suspension. These are the ones that I recommend for those that are only hauling lighter loads occasionally and don't always need the additional support on their suspension.
The SumoSprings # SSR-612-47 are the heavier option from SuperSprings at 1,800lbs of capacity. I recommend this kit for those that will be carrying an additional load most of the time they are driving their vehicle. The additional capacity will make the vehicle more stable when you drive with and without a load. You may notice a slightly firmer ride when you drive without a load is the one possible set back to these.
These are designed to replace the factory bump stops on your Frontier.
If you are also wanting some SumoSprings for your front suspension the Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1094F are the only option from SuperSprings. These fit between the coils on your front springs to provide additional stability for vehicles that use snow plows or are looking for additional stability from brake dive. That is when you press on the brakes and so much of the weight shifts to the front it feels like the truck is taking a nose dive.
