Does Progressive Dynamics Converter part # PD9160ALV Know When to Stop Charging

Question:

I just got this a few weeks ago and have it hooked up to two 100 Ah lithium batteries. I plugged it in when my battery monitor showed 80. I can see its charging at about 50 Amps and my battery monitor now shows 100. However, I still see this charging at 50 Amps, does it not stop when it senses the battery is fully charged? My concern is that its going to overcharge and overheat my batteries. Thanks.

The Progressive Dynamics Converter part # PD9160ALV is not going to overcharge your lithium batteries. It will stop charging once the battery is fully charged. It has a remote module that is designed to stop the charge once the batteries are fully charged.
