Will the CIPA ATV Handlebar Mirror Work with Heated Handlebar Grips
Question:
Polaris atv 2004 600 twin sportsman. I looked things over and re read your spects on this mirror and discovered my handle bar grips might give me problems for they are heated ones. The ends protrude out from the bars about 1/4 in with just a small whole at the center end. Do u see a way these will fit. Dont want to ruin the grips from heating in any way.

My recommendation is that you could consider using the CIPA Handlebar Grip Mount ATV Mirror # CM-11126. This style wraps around the handlebar using a Velcro strap, and can accommodate handlebars up to 1-1/4 in diameter. Please measure your existing handlebars and make sure that with the additional diameter of your installed heated grips that this option would work for your ATV.
If this mirror is compatible with your ATV, please be advised that when you use the Velcro strap to mount the handlebars make sure that the mirror is secured to the handlebar, and not mounting it on the additional 1/4 inch protrusion of the heated grips.
I understand your concern about mounting this mirror with your heated grips and I agree that the CIPA Handlebar # CM11132 might not mount properly. Due to the difference in mounting diameter that your heated handlebars provide I would not recommend using this style of mounting mirror. In additional there is the potential for damage to your heated handlebars, ATV, or any distraction while operating the ATV that could be caused if the mirrors are not secured properly.
I have included links to the parts listed above for your reference as well as a video for you.
