Will Firestone Ride-Rite Rear Air Bag System Part # F2404 Fit 2013 Ford F-350 Dually Cab/Chassis
Question:
Will this fit a 2013 F350 dually chassis cab?

Expert Reply:
This particular Ride-Rite Rear Axle Air Bag System, part # F2404, will not fit your 2013 Ford F-350 Dually Cab and Chassis according to my contact at Firestone.
Instead you can use their kit # F2176 as long as you have at least 7-1/2 inches space between the top of your tire and vehicle. An adjustable air spring kit like the Firestone # F2176 is ideal if you will routinely tow a wide variety of trailers and/or cargo loads of different weights. Please note drilling will be required for installation.
I have attached the installation instructions for your review along with two articles concerning Firestone Air Suspension kits.
Please note that suspension kits such as this Firestone product do not increase your vehicle weight-carrying capacity; they also must be maintained at all times with at least 5 lbs of air pressure to prevent possible damage to the air springs.
We offer both single- and dual-function air pressure control kits. The Firestone # F2097 is a single-function kit that will control both air bags equally and which includes a heavy-duty compressor and everything you need to control the air springs. The Firestone Dual Air Command II, part # F2168, allows for independent control of the two air bags (great if a cargo load is not evenly distributed) and
includes super-heavy-duty compressor, 1/2-gallon air tank and all other parts required for installation and operation of your Firestone air bags.
