Troubleshooting Brake Controller Wiring of 2021 Ford E-450 Not Matching 3034-P

Question:

I’ve got a 2022 Jayco Redhawk on a 2021 Ford e450 platform. I ordered the controller with the recommended harness 3034. It won’t power the controller using this harness. I checked voltage to the Ford plug behind the dash it was 12 volts. I checked the continuity in the 3034 harness and it was also good. Looking at the plug out of the dash and the 3034 harness, the wire ports aren’t aligning. The connections are off by a couple ports. Is there possibly another harness to fit this platform and not the 3034? 3036 possibly? Although it doesn’t say for the econoline series. Here are pictures of the harness coming out of Ford and the 3034 harness connection. Thanks.

The pins of your 2021 Ford E-450 do actually match the pin out of the # 22292 which is also known sometimes as the 3036 so yes this would be the correct harness. You also could repin what you have now so that you could get on the road quickly. You'd need to use a needle to release the pins so that you can pull them out.

I have a 2022 Entegra Odyssey on a E450 chassis. The harness Andrew W. shows is the same as mine. I originally ordered the 3034 but my Tekonsha Prodigy P2 does not get power when using the 3034. I just ordered a 3036 as it appears to be the correct harness. Not sure why everywhere the 3034 is advertised as the correct harness for these E450's.
