Raising Suspension on a 2012 DRV Mobile Suites 5TH Wheel 36TKSB3 That has Lippert Center Point

Question:

New Ford truck sits higher, can the Centerpoint system be used to raise the trailer sufficiently for a more level position? And if so, how do you make the height adjustment? Pictures show the shackle and the center mount. To me it appears the only adjustment i could make for gaining height is at the center mount by moving the system from the middle hole to the bottom hole. The shackle appears to be at max height already. Thoughts? Thanks for the assistance

It would appear that you can move the Lippert Center Point # LC1565391 down one additional hole which will likely only gain you an additional 1/2" of clearance when it is moved.

When the Center Point is originally installed it will raise the suspension approximately 2" due to the height of the unit. With the additional clearance you may be able to change over to some larger wheels and tires that will give you some additional height. To determine if you have enough clearance for some larger wheels and tires you will need to measure how much clearance that you currently have on your current wheels and tires. Please let me know how much clearance you do have along with your current tire size and wheel lug bolt pattern and I can recommend some larger tires if they will fit.

Also do understand that this will raise your camper height which may affect your leveling system on your 2012 DRV 36TKSB3 as well as the steps going into your camper. You will likely need to adjust your jacks for the height difference so that it will be able to level properly.
