Can Diversi Tech Rekeying Kit Install on Ball Mount Locked to Hitch

Question:

Lost my keys. The hitch is on the truck and can’t get it off. Ordered a rekeying kit from you guys and it will arrive in a few days. In advance, can I rekey it to get it off while it’s on the truck? Do you have an install video? I assume there is no other way to get it off the truck until then. Thanks.

Yes you can install the re-key kit part # DTLBM02RK with it still installed on your truck. You do not have to have it removed to install the kit and this will allow you to remove a locked on ball mount.
