Recommended B&W Turnoverball and Fifth Wheel Hitch for 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 With 8 Foot Bed
Question:
I need a 5th wheel hitch for my truck but I need my bed free of rails or other obstructions. I am looking for an under the bed gooseneck kit that would be compatibile with a 5th wheel hitch. My truck is a 2011 Chevy Silverado 3500 dually. As a side note i also have air bags. If need be I can remove them.

The Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BW57FR is designed to fit the 2021 Ford F-150 so it is not compatible with your truck. You need the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1012. Once this is installed, you will be able to use a hitch like the B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3500.
Regarding your air bags, it looks like all of the Air Lift and Firestone air bags we have for the Silverado 3500 are compatible with an in-bed hitch with the exception of the Air Lift SlamAir # AL59209. So more than likely you will not need to remove the air bags to install this on your truck.
I have attached several installation videos for your reference.
