The K-Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror, # KS3891, is a universal fit towing mirror that was designed to fit most vehicles that have a mirror that is separate from the mirror housing. Unfortunately we have not performed a test fit of this mirror on a BMW X3 yet, but as long as your mirror has a lip or gap between the mirror glass and the mirror housing, this mirror should work well for you.

I do not have a X3 on my lot to look at, but I did some research on your vehicle and it looks like it does have the mirror glass separate from the mirror housing. I recommend looking at the mirror on your 2009 BMW X3 to see if it has the lip or gap around the glass mirror to allow the K Source mirror to grip the mirror housing.
