Will The Thule OutWay Trunk Bike Rack Fit 2016 Toyota Corolla?

Hi! I am looking at purchasing the Thule OutWay Trunk Bike Rack for 3 Bikes # TH56BV for my 2016 Toyota Corolla Altis. However, Thule informed me that they do not recommend this bike carrier for my car model and year and that they do not have any recommendations for a rear door mounted bike carrier for my car. Can I ask if you have any ideas if the Thule OutWay Trunk Bike Rack for 3 Bikes # TH56BV is compatible? From the various videos found online, it seems to be able to install on my vehicle. The trunk looks similiar to the 2015 Honda Civic in your review. Thanks!

I contacted Thule to get some information on this. They stated that they have not yet had the chance to test the Thule OutWay Trunk Bike Rack for 3 Bikes # TH56BV on the 2016 Toyota Corolla 4 door sedan but they confirmed fitment with newer years of the Corolla. That said, they tested and verified fitment of their other bike racks such as Thule Gateway Pro 3 Bike Rack # TH78VR so you can rest assured that this will work.

My contact at Thule and I both agree that there shouldn't be any reason why the OutWay wouldn't fit your 2016 Corolla, it just comes down to the fact that neither of us have been able to test it yet. I agree that the Corolla trunk is similar to the Honda Civic trunk that we have in the demonstration video so it would very likely fit your Corolla without an issue.
