What Can Replace My G6A-3 Water Heater In My RV.

Question:

I am helping my father-in-law and he has a G6A-3 with a hole in it and needs a replacement unit. Do you have them available or an equivalent that would fit in the same space as the G6A-3?

I have a few suggestions for replacement lets see what solution works for you.

We have the Dometic RV Water Heater - Gas and Electric - Automatic Pilot - 120 Volt - 10,000 Btu - 6 Gal Tank # DMC74FR. It is a quick recovery water heater that provides a long lasting supply of hot water with a small, lightweight tank that can give you up to 12 gallons of hot water an hour.

My recommendation is the Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 41,800 Btu - Black # LSB44FR. It is a tankless gas water heater that provides endless hot water on demand for your RV. About 90 gallons of hot water per hour. It does require a temperature and pressure relief valve like Camco RV Water Heater Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve - 1/2" Valve w/ 4" Probe # CAM10423.

It will automatically shut off gas flow if the flame goes out to prevent gas leaks.
It will automatically keep your water lines warm to prevent freezing and bursting
It uses an electric autopilot and propane for the heat source.
And has a 1 year warranty.

These are not exact replacements but can fit in most standard RV water heater compartments.

Please note that installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency, or gas supplier.
