Hi, it would like to confirm before ordering that for a 2012 Ram 3500, diesel 6.5foot bed that the Reese 30158-52 gooseneck and power puck under bed rail will accept any brand of hitch made for the Ford 2011+ Super Duty OEM trailer prep? That would apply to Curt, Reese, BandW, etc. so I could order which ever slider would arrive the soonest.. The 30158-52 looks like it clamps around the frame. Maybe Im splitting hairs, but I would like it bolted to the frame of possible. Thanks.

This underbed design ensures full access to your truck bed and is the same system as the 2011 and newer Ford OEM puck systems. Any 5th wheel hitch that is listed to fit the Ford will also drop in to this system. Clamping around the frame is one way of describing how this mounts, that is correct.
