Will GearSpace 34 Enclosed Carrier # HGK826 Mount on the Front of My Motorhome?
Question:
I would like to be able to open the back doors of my 2003 Pleasure Way Exel as well as balance the weight from front to back so I have less sway while driving. Would this cargo carrier safely mount of the front? Thank you!

Yes, the GearSpace 34 # HGK826 will be able to mount on a front hitch of your 2003 Pleasure Way Exel class B motorhome. However, when using the GearSpace 34, it is important to confirm with your vehicle's user manual to make sure that your vehicle can accommodate the 160 pounds of the carrier and 300 additional pounds of cargo weight. It is also important to note that with a box this large, there is the potential to limit the air flow to the engine/transmission. However, this is not too big of an issue if you keep an eye on the temperature gauge.
If you need a front hitch receiver for your motorhome, we unfortunately don't have any fits designed specially for your vehicle. With that being said, I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # C13701. With the Draw-Tite universal hitch, you will be able to adjust the mounting brackets to fit your frame as long as the frame measures between 18-51 inches wide. The hitch has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 500 pounds, so it will be plenty of capacity you need to transport your 160-pound GearSpace 34 with up to 300 pounds of cargo.
