Can I Use the Thule GateMate Pro on a Bike With a Large Frame Diameter
Question:
Will this work on Specialized non suspension ebikes? I ask since the downtube in large due to the battery compartment.

Typically you would need to remove the battery pack from an e-bike to carry it in your 2021 Ford F-150 using the Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 8 Bikes - 60" Wide # TH824PRO. The great thing about the GateMate is that the hook and loop straps are 16 inches long overall and would allow you to carry thicker frame bikes; they can also be slid up and down to allow some flexibility in where you can put the straps on the bike. The straps on the GateMate Pro would fit a Specialized e-bike like the Turbo Vado SL.
If you want some added security for these bikes with larger down tubes then I recommend using the Thule Load Strap Cinch Straps w/ Padded Cam Buckles - 9' - 750 lbs - Qty 2 # TH521.
