Helpful Expert Reply:
The combined height of the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System item # TOSHRV for your 1994 Oshkosh X-Line is 6 3/8". The spring height is 4 3/4" and the bracket height is 1 5/8". The system has a max compression of 2 1/4". Timbren also recommends a 1/2" to 1-1/2" of clearance between the axle and frame after the timbren is installed, so the ideal space between the top of the axle and the bottom of the frame should be 7"-8".
