Would Cut Wires of Trailer Breakaway System Cause Brakes to Lock Up
Question:
Both wires to the break away switch are cut vandals. Can I still move the trailer to be repaired does that lock the brakes from travel? Thank you

A trailer breakaway system with cut wires would still be movable. In the most basic terms a breakaway system actually "connects" wires when it's locking up the brakes of the trailer so cutting some of them would not cause the brakes to lock up.
