Yes, the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # 90195 with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Ram # 3024-P is a compatible replacement for your stock Ram 4500 brake controller. This custom wiring adapter will make installation a breeze. Simply plug one end of the adapter into your brake controller and then plug the other end into the built-in harness beneath your Ram 4500's dash. The Prodigy P3 automatically levels when mounted within a 360-degree vertical range. It includes a customizable LCD display with 5 storable settings, 3 boost levels, battery protection and continuous diagnostics.
The integrated safeguards protect your vehicle, trailer, and the controller by preventing the trailer brakes from overheating by reducing power output to them during prolonged stops, minimizing drain on car battery by drawing only 3.6 milliamps when not in use, and defending the brake controller and trailer breakaway systems against shorts.
