Does ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad w/ Thermostat # 277-000163 Heat Both Sides
Question:
I want to use this to attach to the inside back wall of my utility bay that directly faces the rigs pex water lines. The bay will be insulated with Reflectix so it will be mostly sealed from outside temperatures. The 25x7.25inch pad fits perfectly and would be within two inches if not directly touching most of the lines. Will this pad produce enough heat to warm this area enough to prevent freezing in other words, does it radiate heat from both sides when it is powered on and the temperature is below 45F? Thanks!

The ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad w/ Thermostat # 277-000163 that you referenced does radiate heat on both sides of the pad. When the ambient temperature drops below 45 degrees the heater comes on and won't go off until it has reached 67 degrees.
