Trailer Tire Recommendation to Replace Size 185/65-14
Question:
I have a boat trailer with two 185/65 R14s! They are car radial tires, and want to go to correct trailer tires. I have plenty of room in the fender, so could easily go up in tire size. What do you recommend?

The closest tire size to what you have now of 185/65-14 would be the tire size 205/75-14 like with the part # TR20514 which has an outer diameter of 26.14 inch and a section width of 8 inches.
What you have now is most likely a passenger vehicle tire size which was not designed or rated for use on a trailer.
