Recommended Hubs for a Snowmobile Trailer With 8 Inch Wheels

Question:

Need new hubs for a trailer. Currently Dexter 8-259 5 on 4.5. 8” wheels and tires. Photos attached of hubs, bearings, etc. I believe they are 2k axles. Just trying to confirm my options. Thanks in advance.

The 8 inch wheels that you have does make things a little more difficult, but we do have an option available.

With that being said, I recommend going with the Timbren Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,500-lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - Qty 2 # TA88545-2. These are specifically designed to be used with 8" to 10" wheels and does have the 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. These come with all the needed bearings, seals, caps, and lug nuts. They are also rated for use up to 2,500 pound trailer axles, so they will definitely get you covered.
