Can the Valterra ABS Water Tank Be Installed Over an Open Space Without Supports

Question:

The size is ok but i dont want it on the roof lol. Gravity fed only, no electric pump ? That doesnt sound right. And also, Can it be supported by laying it flat 16x24 between pieces of angle iron by the edges only, open bottom under the floor? or does it need a full surface to lay on? Or does it have to stand upright 8x24 ? Number of baffles? the descrdescription showed every 18. Thank you :

Valterra ABS water tanks like the # R8024 are baffled every 18" for surge control and made from lightweight ABS plastic, so they're just not designed to handle to additional pressure that is created from an electric water pump sucking the water out of the tank; the # R8024 will only have a single baffle. Using an electric water pump would void the manufacturer's warranty in the event of any malfunction, but you can use this on a hand primed water system.

In regards to the surface that it can be stored on, but I don't recommend storing it in a manner that does not fully support the weight of the water tank. With that said, it can be installed on its' side or sitting upright on a fully supported flat surface without affecting performance.
