Correct Replacement Hubs and Drums for Maxum Boat Trailer
Question:
looking to order replacement parts for my 1998 Maxum 1900SR2 Boat trailer. Cant seem to cross references any of the part #s. Trailer Part # is WT20PDB-X 50743-Z AXLE , WT,W/O HUBS 2OFFSET GALV 1.0 EA 30. 15914 HUB/DRUM, 10, 1850LB 2.0 EA * 15907 BEARING 1.38 2.0 EA * 15908 BEARING 1.06 2.0 EA * 15905 SEAL 1.72 2.0 EA * 16696 GREASE CAP 1.98 PRE-GALV 2.0 EA * 15902 COTTER PIN SPINDLE 2.0 EA * 15903 WASHER 1.06 SPINDLE 2.0 EA * 15910 NUT SPINDLE 2.0 EA * 15680 10inch BRAKE ASSY, PREMIER RIGHT 1.0 EA 31. 15681 10inch BRAKE ASSY, PREMIER LEFT 1.0 EA

It's only really necessary to replace the axle if the spindles are damaged as they not a wear item but we do have the correct hubs/drums and brakes you need. This comes back as a 3,500 lb axle so you will want to use the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-545-35-K and Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA. You'll reuse the castle nut and cotter pin.
If you do end up needing a new axle you can take a look at our selection below but this application would likely require a custom option. You'll need to know the hub face and spring center length for replacement.
