As long as your 2012 Ford F-150 is not a Raptor edition, then you can definitely use the heavy duty RoadActive Suspension system. For this, you will need the # RAS3611-YHD and it will give you up to 3,000 pounds of load leveling capacity.
However, if you wanted something with more capacity and the ability to adjust the system, I highly recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57200. These will have a load-leveling capacity of up to 5,000 pounds at 100 psi, but can then be aired down to 5 psi making them feel nonexistent, keeping your ride as stock as possible. The only downside to these will be the need to fill them when you want to tow and the install will be more difficult than the # RAS3611-Y will be.
The Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System for Air Helper Springs- Heavy Duty - Dual Path # AL25856 can be added on and will allow you to fill the bags on the fly. This will make maintaining the pressure a lot easier and you will not need to go to a gas station or use another compressor to fill them up.
