What Is The Right RoadActive Suspension Enhancement Kit for my 2021 Ford F-150
Question:
I have a 2021 4WD F150 XLT with a short bed and hauling a 26' travel trailer. I am already using a weight distribution system but still concerned with the way the truck bed sets after loading. There is too much sag and have been told that an active suspension is the way to go but which one and is it worth it?

We have two options for your 2021 Ford F-150, the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit - Standard Duty, # RAS3611-Y or, the Heavy Duty # RAS3611-YHD.
The reason to choose this system is because it continually reinforces your F-150's current leaf spring suspension. The force normally put on your truck's suspension is transferred to the RAS Enhancement Kit, allowing your leaf springs to work normally. So they work to keep you level, help with body roll when you turn, and give you better traction and handling by allowing your front wheels to stay completely on the ground instead of being slightly raised under the weight of cargo. This will not add capacity to your payload or the amount you carry but instead take some of the force off of your factory suspension.
The correct RAS kit (standard duty or heavy-duty) really comes down to how heavy your tongue weight is, and how much squat you have. For 600 lbs or more or tongue weight and more than 2 - 3 inches of squat use the Heavy Duty RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-YHD.
For less than that use the Standard Duty RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-Y.
A great way to know what your tongue weight is, is to use a Tongue Weight Scale like the etrailer # e99044.
