Question:
I am wondering what the small clear tab is on the back side of the Dexter Brake Assembly. Is there a use for it?

The clear tab you're referring to on the Dexter Electric Brake Assembly # 23-106 is not something that you have to use, but it's there to allow you to tie up any loose wires. I've seen a lot of people that don't really use them and keep the wiring fairly short, but it's used to tie up any loose wiring that might hang off the back.
