For a tonneau cover that will allow you to fully open your tailgate while installed, I recommend the BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK39602. With the BAK Revolver X2, you will be able to open and close your tailgate whether the tonneau cover is in the opened or closed position.
