Should I Follow the Specs for Tire Pressure in Owners Manual of My Trailer or On the Actual Tires

Question:

We’ll be going on a cross country trip and my concern is: the manufacturer Aliner recommended the cold psi be @ 50, but the tire spec label recommends max cold psi @ 65. Tires are loadstar karrier kr35 st185/80r13 load range d. The camper loaded is about 1800 lbs +\- 20lbs. Therefore I have two questions , what should the psi be and will the tires safely carry that load? Thank you!

You'll always want to follow the specs that are listed directly on the tires themselves. It sounds like you've got the Loadstar ST185/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire - Load Range D # AM1ST79, which are designed to be run at 65psi and have a capacity of 1710-lbs per tire; these tires are well rated for a camper that has a GVWR of almost 2000-lbs, so you've got nothing to worry about.
