Comparing RockyMounts MonoRail and Split Rail for Carrying Pace Aventon 500

Question:

I have a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. We have two electric bikes, Aventon Pace 500. Im trying to decide between the RKY11404 and the RKY10004. Any thoughts?

The main difference between the SplitRail # RKY11404 and MonoRail # RKY10004 is that the MonoRail can carry bikes with 5" wide tires; the SplitRail will only carry bikes with tires up to 3" wide. It looks like the Aventon Pace 500 has 27"x 2.2" tires, so the MonoRail # RKY10004 would work well for you on your 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. If you think there's ever a chance you'll switch to fat tire e-bikes then I recommend going with the SplitRail # RKY11404.
