Can the Curt Echo Be Installed on 7 Way Trailer Plug That Faces Perpendicular to Direction of Travel
Question:
Does the controller need to be installed in a specific orientation? That is, parallel to the forward direction of the vehicle. The reason I ask is, my 7-pin connector is installed perpendicular to the centerline of the vehicle fits better underneath. Please advise. Thanks.

Yes. One of the great things about the Curt Echo # C51180 is that it can be installed in any direction and still will sense when the vehicle is braking and send a signal back to the trailer brakes. This will work just fine on your vehicle with the 7 way installed perpendicular to the forward direction of the vehicle.
